AppXite is a fully owned subsidiary of Atea ASA and a value-add distributor helping you scale your ISV business globally by providing Azure lift-and-shift, DevOps & Customer Success Management services towards your end customers, and increasing your sales through our global partner channel framework. Our approach is based on a pay-as-you-grow policy towards both you and the resellers and focussing on matching vertical resellers to the ISV solution. We are managing the GÉANT project outside of the Nordics.

We have been selected as Microsoft’s approved reseller of Azure in 22 countries around Europe as part of the GÉANT IaaS Framework. It is our mission to “Enable Research and Academia to collaborate and share knowledge across countries – sharing solutions and software”.

What is GÉANT?

GÉANT runs a pan-European network available to over 50 million users at 10,000 research and higher education institutions. Their focus is on providing advanced high-speed infrastructure access, enabling European researchers to lead international collaboration. The GÉANT Project runs the most advanced and best-connected research and education network in the world.
GÉANT Limited is a not-for-profit organisation, owned by its core membership of 41 National Research and Education Networks (NRENs). An NREN is an organisation which runs a high-speed network for participating Research and Education institutions in their country. Each country’s NREN acts as a specialised internet service provider dedicated to supporting the needs of the Research & Education communities within their geographical area.

Your users can use their home organisation login to access portals of cloud providers on the framework – using eduGAIN, which interconnects identity federations around the world.
EduGAIN uses the de facto standard protocol, SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language).
